My sister in law Georgie and I were amongst the corperate and sophisticated crowd in the Birdcage in the Yellowglen marquee on Melbourne Cup Day. As guests we were treated to a day of delicious food and sipped on the divine Yellowglen rosé and champaign whilst overlooking the best view of the mounting yard. This view for me made my day even more special, seeing the horses trotting around and admiring just how beautiful these creatures are took my attention away from the fashion for just a moment and to a place that reminded my just why were were here in the fist place. Well dressed men took centre stage in this marquee, second of course to the beverages and the pops of yellow roses gave that extra special touch of happiness to the already buzzing space.
