One day on Net-a-Porter a beautiful leopard print and skull McQueen scarf popped up and had my heart! I loved it so much, though the hefty price ticket made me weigh up my purchases and the reality of spending so I decided to give it a night to think about it. As I lay awake- restless and thinking about the beautiful ‘investment’ scarf that stole my heart I said to my self  ‘first thing in the morning, I will jump back on the net and purchase that McQueen collectable’. As morning came and the sun rose I jumped out of bed and pulled out my laptop and punched in www.NET-A-PORTER.com, and as I dreamt about wearing the scarf with my fav Shakuhachi pants and what friends I would tell about this purchase… my heart sank into my stomach as I read the words ‘SOLD OUT’ NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! the next thing I could do was google search the net for another online stockist! nope no one! ‘sold out’ sold out’, I called a Singapore store I knew that stocked the famous label and they didn’t have it either. I had to count my losses and learn a valuable lesson- ‘DONT LET ALEXANDER MCQUEEN SLIP THROUGH YOUR FINGERS!’ Thursday is my 27th bday and I received an early bday present from one of my family members who is going to be away for my bday. As I opened this soft and weired shaped package I wondered what could this present be?? OMGosh!! could it be?? YES! I could not believe my eyes! my Alexander McQueen scarf was safely in my hands!! It seems that a certain family member had her ears pricked when I told her my story about losing the scarf to a ‘sold out’ sign and she hunted high and low and found it on another online store who had another shipment in! Ah! what a story! (images taken moments after the suprise!!)

Oh and my new Vintage Christian Dior sunglasses!!! Purchased from the Art Deco store in Armadale
