BTS OF THE PHOTO SHOOT FOR MORGAN AND TAYLORIMG_1171 IMG_1169 IMG_1141 IMG_1137 BRRQFEfCAAI_FXG.jpg-large

A whirl wind trip to Sydney and back for the Myer show and boy did I cramp a lot in! From the moment I landed, it was go! go! go! I checked in to my ‘home away from home’ the QT Sydney hotel and jumped in an uber car to my first stop to meet up with Nicola Finetti to choose my outfit for the Myer event and an outfit to wear in a Morgan and Taylor photo shoot for the Daily Telegraph. The second I put on the gorgeous blue, white and black printed Nicola Finetti dress, I knew it was the one for me and, as a bonus, it fit like a glove!  The pastel coloured outfit I chose for the newspaper shoot stole my heart (especially those shorts!) the colours brought life into an otherwise dreary day and although showing a slither of midriff, I felt really comfortable as the height of the shorts covered most of it! This outfit is on my spring wardrobe wish list and should be on yours!

Next stop, the photo shoot in Centennial Park and as it has it, it was raining, something I am used to being a Melbourne girl. I had so much fun with Nadia Coppolino pretending to laugh to ‘get the shot’ and prancing around in our beautiful floral Morgan and Taylor headbands, I am very excited to wear my own in the season ahead and of course to the Spring Racing Carnival. Ordering a ‘QT burger’ over the phone whilst I drive back to the hotel, all I could think about was devouring that delicious burger, its gherkins and those yummy chips it comes with that I religiously order every time I visit QT. With only crumbs left on my plate at the hotel, I jump back into a cab, destination: Edwards and Co (my hairdresser who is based in Sydney) to get my hair blow waved. You would have seen on my instagram, a snap of the warehouse style salon, it is friggen’ awesome and is has the best stylists/colourists in town!

Bouncy waves later, I am back in a cab (really need to buy shares in uber!) head back to the hotel to put my face on, get dressed and go to the Myer show where I got to catch up with Nicola Finetti again! (runway re-capped in previous post)

Next morning on my way to the airport I paid a visit to some PR’s one included The Rumour Mill who look after such brands as Market HQ, Staple the Label, Hunt no More and Evil Twin to name just a few. Imagine working in that showroom!

Phew! I am exhausted reliving this trip but it was an awesome one! I am back up there two more times this month which always means it’s for something exciting!
