Showcasing 12 of Australias most talented graduates and supporting their future career in this industry, Sportsgirl and the LMFF board hand picked these designers from a record 75 applicants. I’m glad I didn’t have the job to select only 12 talents from 75 but I can tell you now, I can see how these lucky designers for tomorrow stood out from the crowd.

The best way to describe how I felt about this show is simple: I was blown away. The smile on my face as each unique and fashion forward designer’s collection came down the runway would have said it all. I was excited, I wanted more, I wanted to clap and cry as I was so proud of the talent in the room. Their inspirations were so creative and the extent they took their designs to really had the crowd in awe. I had my favourites of course, mostly because they were my style and I could see myself wearing the pieces either on the blog or to an event and as I will be back styling again later this year, I had vision of my clients standing out at a red carpet event in any of these pieces. Agh! I am still buzzing!

What do you think?
