Today I was out all day, I had one event after the other and left Will at home for the first time. I was lucky that Josh took the day off work so he could mind the kids, as at the moment, he is the only one I trust with the baby’s feeding and sleep routine, which is so silly because Will only slept 20 minutes the whole day for him. I, on the other hand, didn’t worry a second all day that I was away from the kids. I knew the kids were in good hands and I could sip my espresso martini at the MSFW lunch I was at. I wore my best clothes and took out my CHANEL boy bag for the day (which hasn’t seen daylight since I was pregnant) I felt really good with no milk on my shoulder. When I got home, I saw my three boys and it was the best feeling ever. How can three humans make me so happy and so full of love? Whatever was outside that door that I just closed behind me has nothing compared to my boys and the love I have for them. I think sometimes we spend too much time worrying about ourselves, people, work, social or anything else and forget about how lucky we are to come home to such joy. I am the luckiest person in the world, not because of that CHANEL bag I just put down, but because of the little chubba, the mini me and that guy I met at Volt night club in 04′.
