Boohoo Spring Summer Media Showings
DE JANERO PORCELAIN
Last week I had the pleasure of hosting the Melbourne Media showings for the Boohoo Spring Summer #TrendAhead Collections.
Overlooking the Melbourne CBD at the Cullen Hotel, Melbourne’s favourite bloggers came along to preview the three memorable collections that will be available to Aussies ‘ahead’ of the world and boy, did we see some smiling fashionistas when they entered that sleek room at the Cullen. As I mentioned there are three collections and as each blogger arrived, it was fun to see which collection they favoured, however, despite the passion for one collection everyone seemed to find a favourite piece from the others.
Monoscope: Think a kaleidoscope of grey and black geometric prints and florals with a pop of orange, pink and blue highlights. Cut away panel details, racer backs and a hint of sequin truly define this style. My favourite pieces from this collection is a white and black pencil skirt with a split and a tshirt style sequinned top.
De Janero: Summer parties are covered, a favourite with the bloggers, the bold colours loured them in, taking them to a place where the sun is beaming and the water is crystal clear (a great contrast to Melbourne right now!) Clashing prints plays the hero in this trend in bold aztec, animal, tropical and neon lava print. Crop tops, short flirty skirts, cocoon shoulders and tasselled denim are seen throughout this vibrant hue collection. My highlight piece was the palm print playsuit as seen above.
Porcelain: Hints of Oriental silhouettes, dazzling sequins in jetset black, silver and gold over shine the brightest pink combo and the showstopper key piece is the blue floral drop waist dress that mirrors the artwork on a porcelain vase. Think delicate with an edgy twist! My favourite in this collection would have to be the sequin pants and a great little sparkling crop top to match.
With every piece in the three trends under $100, the fashion forward, fun and show stopping collections stole the heart of EVERY blogger and there was absolutely something for everyone, I was very proud to put the WWKD name along with the Boohoo on that day. I am super excited to see the collections drop as of September so be sure to check it out and to see more of the showings jump onto instagram and look up #trendahead to see the bloggers choosing their favourite pieces!
