Ok, so I am basically dying right now, going through old photos of me over my last 6 years of attending VAMFF (Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, formerly known as LMFF for any archive searching purposes).
I am actually sitting here on the couch (and snap chatting at the same time, find me @whatwouldkarldo) in shock at how confident I was. Who was I? Or should I say, where has my confidence gone? Did my kids steal it on their way out of me? I am confused because I would so, not, rock a fan that say’s ‘air con’ on it as an accessory in 2016, I can’t even wear a coloured lip for goodness sake! Oh how time changes.
Well, it is the Festival’s 20th Anniversary this year, an exciting time for Melbourne and it’s fashionistas to come together and support our favourite designers, get tickets to the Premium Runway shows and mingle with like minded people. Before I ever had the opportunity to sit front row as a blogger back when I first started in 2010, I was buying my tickets to VAMFF and chose where I wanted to sit (you can purchase row A seats) and I remember just being there and feeling involved and appreciated. Meeting new people and bloggers and even now, meeting some of my followers gives me a buzz, it excites me every year!
This year, I am super excited as I have been asked to be an official Advocate of VAMFF 2016! This means a lot to me as it shows that my support has not gone unnoticed over the years. And, because I am so excited, I thought I would spoil you:
