VAMFF is here and to kick off one of Melbourne’s most fashionable weeks, I went along to my old stomping ground in the West, Highpoint Shopping Centre to launch an exciting installation in the newly refurbished shopping centre. Highpoint in partnership with the City of Maribyrnong brings VAMFF to the West in support of the cultural program and reveals The Colour Studio. Celebrating life on the bright side of the city (which is true as a true blue westie myself) The Colour Studio will be a fashion hub over the next week with a series of events and workshops showcasing key fashion and interior trends for the Autumn/Winter season.

This little rainbow amongst the retailers at Highpoint is a great way for all fashion lovers to have a hands on and interactive experience as part of VAMFF. Growing up as a fashion lover, who couldn’t attend the runways, I could have only dreamed of attending a fashion exhibition like this. I get emails all the time asking how I got to where I am now as a blogger and I always give my best advice: network and get along to any fashion event in your city that you can.

Pop up fashion shows will showcase the latest looks in a way that is intimate and inspiring- held on March 19th and a full workshop program will be held from Friday 21st until Sunday 23rd including an I Scream Nails art workshop, clothing embellishment, clutch bag design and style seminars with one of my favourite people, Nadia Bartel.
