Recently I have found life can bring so much joy and also a balance of the down times. I have found it so important for me to share my journey and that journey that has evolved from a twenty something blogger with not a care in the world, through to my two pregnancies and two births of my sons and turning 30. I found it liberating when I started sharing more of myself to you from day to day, post to post and whether you were listening or not, it was good for me. It’s hard work you know, being a mum, super-dooper harder when you already have one at your feet and another in your cradled arms. I love that I am at a point, in my fashion journey, where you have joined me on this fashionable ride through motherhood as I am not sure you were ready back when I had Aston. I had a discussion with some fashion friends yesterday about babies and timing and how it is actually really cool to be a mum right now. It is! I have the best job in the world raising my boys and sharing it with you on this ol’ blog here and I also think it is important to talk about (but not get into too much depth as I am not ‘yet’ a mummy blogger) real things that I/you/the mother goes through. I mentioned I struggle/ed with anxiety post-nataly with both births, not that there is anything wrong with me, nor am I not capable of doing things, its just a thing (apparently you never stop worrying about your kids, ever!). A thing that comes part and parcel with my journey and its OK. It is even better that I can write it on here to encourage others to acknowledge things like this and know its completely normal! I will be starting another blog (two blogs! eeeeek!) very soon that I can delve into this and many other topics further but for now, I thought it was nice, again, to share some real things with you. Sorry, it has nothing to do with why I am in my bra in the photos above, but they are pretty cool photos don’t you think?
