This is the story about a little boy called Will. He is a cute little boy, sometimes shy- mostly not shy, likes to play with his friends- mostly likes to pick on other children. This innocent looking strawberry-blonde, porcelain white round faced, button-nosed, blued eyed boy is better described as, well, what’s the word? Cheeky.

Unlike his neat, never dirty, reserved, studious older brother Aston, Will likes to test the boundaries, you know, make sure he tests out the puddle of mud to make sure it isn’t too deep for the other kids or maybe he tries to be proactive and do some home maintenance for me by painting my white wall with a dry paint brush with blue paint dried on it, dip it in the dogs water and create a masterpiece in my hallway, because, you know, I love art and all.

When there is silence, boy, when there is silence and you just cant find him, his patient (and very beautiful) mother braces herself for dear life, as she never knows what she will find when she finally finds him. She will search every room and hopes with her life that behind the next corner she will see him playing nicely with a soft toy, then, that last room, in her big house, behind her office door and not a sound, he is hiding with her new Armani foundation, hands covered, walls painted (more?) and her light grey carpet with smoosh’s of very expensive foundation soaking in real deep and a big smile across a face that she loves so much.

The thing is, I love him so much and apart from the cheekiness, he is a little softy and always apologies and cuddles me (or that kid he just thumped in the park). What I don’t like is when strangers roll their eyes at me when they see him in action or the actual comments they make about him.

“Well you are a little Mon-ahh-munster” Lady, don’t tell me munster is better than monster.

“Oh you have a wild one, oh dear” yeah ok, I kind of know, don’t draw more attention to me.

“ Is he like this all the time? All day long?”

“You’ve got yourself a little devil”.

In the end, this little munstahhh…child, gets a bit bigger every day and as he grows, he softens that little bit more, he can communicate that little bit more and he can cuddle his mummy a whole lot more.

I actually wouldn’t change my cheeky-not-always-cheeky munster for the world.

The End.

Meanwhile…. Do you know how hard it is to find really cute/cool boys clothes? Super hard, especially at a good and affordable price, because if you have a son like my Will, you would know that after not long of wearing his outfit, he is completely wet with any bucket, cup or dog bowl of water he can find!

I was so excited when I found out I had the opportunity to work with Marks and Spencer for many reasons, the first was because it brings back happy memories of the first time I ever walked into a M&S store in London with my sister in law in 2010 and how we found ourselves with our arms full of clothes and how excited we were to show them off to our friends back home.

The next is because the children’s wear is really, really fashionable and really, really good quality at a great price. If you are looking for stylish shoes for your boys- I found them!

And lastly, because the shipping is fast, the prices are low and the homewares is absolutely next level!

Enjoy the shopping and thank me later xo
