I love everything Coco, the reason for my blog’s existence is because of Mademoiselle Chanel or in other words, Karl and his vision of her. I do have a mighty fine little Chanel collation going on with my tweed jackets, jewellery, bags and shoes, but it does not mean I wear it top to toe. As you know, I like to invest into some key designer pieces but fill in the rest of my look with affordable fashion.

Let’s talk about wardrobe investments. A wardrobe investment is a good quality (and usually expensive) item you will purchase that will live in your wardrobe the longest such as a really good blazer, a great quality white shirt, a little black dress, your designer bag, great leather ankle boots, high boots and black pointy pumps. I am working on building my wardrobe investments piece by piece as I would only spend the big bucks on shoes and bags and not so much my clothing. My most recent investment was this long cashmere Nuan coat that just so happens to be called The COCO! The fringe detail had me hooked as it was so Chanel-esque and I think my dollar per wear is working out nicely as I have worn it loads of times already in the chilly Melbourne conditions. I super-dooper highly recommend checking it out or the shorter version if you are looking for a good non-leather-jacket-non-puffy-style-jacket to keep you chic and warm for winters to come.

On my hit list next is a great pair of knee or thigh high boots, I am thinking these Stuart Weitzmanperhaps this might be a NYC purchase!

Anywho, I might wrap this up as I am quite distracted by my regular TV shows as I type and it has taken me two hours to write because of my addiction to that darn Wentworth series! Gets me every time!
